motivational-picture

The above picture is from the bottom of a motivational poster.  It is a real picture with a snowball rolling down a hill.  The other day when I was reading it, I started seeing it another way….  I was thinking it sounded more along the lines of, a few stupid people are okay, but put a whole bunch of them together, and they become dangerous.    Maybe it’s just my weird thinking…

Sissy went off for her first day of Middle School. She was a teesy bit excited.

First day of school

J-Man headed off for his first day of Second Grade. He was not as excited as his sister.

So that means I’m all alone again! All alone, I just love the way that sounds!

While we were at Disney World we celebrated J-Man’s 7th birthday with a character breakfast at The Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom.  Such a beautiful place to start our day at the Magic Kingdom

We all had a super time, well, except for the birthday boy. He wasn’t feeling the love for the characters as much as we thought he would.

Wordful Wednesday~My New Love

Posted on the July 22nd, 2009 under wordful wednesday by Stacy

On Saturday my husband bought me this new car!  I am so happy, it only has 15,000 miles on it!  I haven’t had a brand new car since the early 90’s!  And I am soooo in love with it!

It’s so nice to drive, and it has that brand new smell!  I told my husband that’ll it’ll be so nice to have a car that passes inspection the first time…..and he’s happy because his days of being my personal mechanic are over!

Wordful Wednesday ~ The View From Here

Posted on the July 15th, 2009 under wordful wednesday by Elle

On our way to Disney World we stopped at a Dairy Queen in West Virginia.

Here J-Man is bringing me a daisy he picked.

This is the view from that Dairy Queen. Definitely the nicest view I’ve ever seen from any other DQ.

Happy 4th of July!

It’s The Grand Old Flag, as J-Man always says. Not sure why, but that’s what he calls it every single time.

Wordful Wednesday~Pirate Edition

I’ve got to say that Pirates of the Caribbean is one of my favorite rides at Disney.
For some reason it really brings out the inner pirate in everyone.

Wordful Wednesday~Beach Time

Posted on the June 3rd, 2009 under Uncategorized, wordful wednesday by Elle

Before we went to Disney, we spent a couple of days at my MIL’s in Jensen Beach.

It was great to have some down time after driving 1200 miles in 2 days.

Sissy got in some boogie boarding at the beach.

She loved it. Too bad we live 400 miles from the nearest ocean.

J-Man, it turns out, really isn’t a fan.
