After Princess Nagger was born I got a bill from the hospital for $4600 - I was supposed to be covered 100% by my insurance. The 'code' for denial was 'Not pre-approved'. I had fun with that one - challenging them to the fact that they should have caught it during all the pre-natal visits and wondered if I was supposed to call them when I went into labor at 2 in the morning to make sure it was OK to go ahead and get to the hospital for delivery. It got straightened out and the insurance company did pay...there was some sort of key stroke error when it was submitted. ;) Sorry, I didn't intend to make this comment all about ME...WTH?! ;) Oh, and you totally did make that laundry detergent from scratch.
