Hey Honey, Look What Old Man Winter Blew In Our Yard

Posted on the December 10th, 2009 under Family, crazy crap by Elle

The past few days I’ve been saying J-Man has a croupy cough. After waking up with a fever yesterday morning and more seal barking I took him to the doctor. Ya, that croupy cough? Croup. She gave him a dose of a steroid that’s supposed to help the swelling in his vocal cords and help his cough. Basically we were up most of the night with him coughing. We tried the steamy shower twice. The first time he didn’t realize what we were doing and started to cry that he didn’t want to take a shower. I was contemplating taking him outside to see if the cold air would help, but it was snowing with wind gusts up to 50 miles an hour. So I nixed that idea. I ended up spending the night in my chair while he slept/coughed on the couch. It was a really long night for all of us.

Yesterday on our What The Hell Wednesday I posted about my husband giving one of the dogs turkey skin. Which resulted in the dog not making it outside and depositing the turkey skin results on my kitchen floor. Twice. Just a recap in case you missed it, which most people did. Buuuut, when I cleaned it up, both times, I threw the bag out my back door onto the patio intending to throw the bags away for garbage day. When I went to look for them later, they were gone. Either my husband threw them away when he went out there to plug in the Christmas lights or they blew away in the 50 mile an hour wind gusts. If you are my neighbor and  a plastic bag full of dog crap blew into your yard, I’m sorry, my bad.
